This pride with others in this area specialized in predating on young elephants! Not surprisingly the large elephant herds were pretty worked up and stroppy. Unusually there were also two more nearly full grown males in this pride ( who were busy pestering the females nearby) which were tolerated by the alfa male depicted as he could not take on the two of them together.
