In a Private Collection
I was showing this painting with a few other works by invitation in a private home down by the lighthouse on Brant Point , Nantucket. Our host on seeing it said’ you should sell that to Dennis Conners. I replied ‘of course I should !’ He went to the phone and dialled him in San Diego to say he had a painting for him!! I did not know they were close family friends! So he said he would buy it and I flew to San Diego to deliver the work and watch the Americas Cup races at the same time!
