Having seen Vultures circling, we found this Lioness and her cub trying to escape a swarm of flies which were pestering them. Apparently she had managed to kill a Buffalo and they had both been injured in the process. The flies being attracted to their wounds (which I have not included here!) Eventually they walked past us all of approximately 8ft. away and climbed up onto the branch of a Thorn Acacia!
